AI products need judgment, not just models

The hard part of AI product work is deciding where intelligence should act — and where humans must remain.

The industry often celebrates model capability. Capability is necessary. It is not sufficient.

Good AI products are systems of judgment: where to automate, where to assist, where to refuse, and how to recover when the model is wrong.

At the intersection of AI, cloud, and education, this matters even more. A wrong recommendation in a learning path is not just a UX bug — it is a trust failure.

I try to follow a simple rule: intelligence should expand human agency, not quietly replace it.
